Before his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said they would discuss the Syrian situation and Iran’s military presence in Syria. “We shall carry on with our operations for the removal of Iranian forces from Syria,” he said. Netanyahu, who is also defense minister, is accompanied by Air Force commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Nurkin and Military Intelligence Chief Maj. Gen. Tamir Hayman.
